How to Jazz up a Winter Outfit

Dressing for winter can feel as though it is all dark clothes and plenty of layers, which is a massive difference to the bright colours and skin showing fashions of summer. However, just because we’re hitting the colder weather doesn’t mean that we have to be without style – here is how to jazz up a winter outfit.

Invest in a Winter Coat

One thing that many people worry about in winter is how to dress for a party – because they want to look great for the party and they know it will be warm when they get there, but they don’t want to be cold on the way. Investing in a decent winter coat means that you can wear whatever you like underneath it and you know that you’re going to be warm. That way, you can wear whatever fashions you want for your party without the worry of arriving at your event cold and wet.

Accessorise

Accessories are a great addition to an outfit at any time of the year and winter is no exception. You’ll be surprised at just how much difference a pair of earrings can make or the addition of a shiny necklace. We were recently invited to try Daisy London Jewellery and found that they have an impressive range that is perfect for winter. If you’re wearing darker colours then you may want jewellery that isn’t too bright and overstated to complement this and their sustainable jewellery does just that.

Not only that but it arrives beautifully presented in Daisy London boxes; so if you’re looking for jewellery for a gift they are a perfect choice.  The photos don’t do these items justice, they really are sparkly pieces of loveliness.

Bags and Shoes

The right bags and shoes can really pull together an outfit and a winter outfit is no exception. Choosing shoes and bags that match but also complement your outfit might seem like a hard task but actually, these days the market has so many choices, there really is something for everyone.

If you have any ideas on how to jazz up a winter outfit we’d love to hear them
